Monthly
Statement:
January
2006
1. As my life has become more settled the topics of my lists
have become more organic.
2. The organic list topics deal with free association.
3. The list topics are more organic but I feel it more appropriate
to write them on lined paper.
4. In the past when things in my life were up in the air the
list topics were more straightforward but they were written
on collaged, free-formed paper..
Process:
1. Save acquired papers, magazines, business cards, tickets,
instructions, directions, work sheets, junk mail, bills, pamphlets,
passes, maps, invitations, flyers, coupons, advertisements,
etc.
2. Paint over with a thin wash of white paint and let dry.
3. Join papers together in strips using clear tape.
4. Live my life.
5. Write lists on the paper strips about the thoughts of my
life and activities experienced.
6. Develop lists to portray a physical interpretation and
a symbolic narration of my daily thoughts and tasks.
