March 2006
This month I collected about 15 of Dave Chappelle’s "Block Party" posters which I think will work into a new piece in some significant way. I also collected some of the posters from the subway about the “Bodies” exhibition from China that has real humans disections on display. I’m in a group show called “Native Spirit” at Supreme Trading in Williamsburg this month as well. I made several new collages since the last update, one of which features Ray Charles (pictured), but I have no title for the piece as of yet. I’m going to Naples Italy in April for 6 weeks to create and exhibit a solo show at the Changing Role gallery, which you can check out at

My April update will be from Italy.

Process: I will gather advertising posters from public spaces (as many of a specific kind as possible) and create collages from them.
